Work with women
Though we are living in the 21st century till women are not empowered. There are places wherein women do not have the right to be educated, and independent. This is very heart-breaking .

Natural calamity
When nature decides to show how cruel it can be no one can prevent it. We have been realizing this since a few days ago. A couple of days ago we as well as the whole of West Bengal.

Empower health care
Health care is the most important matter of life. But most people neglect it. Especially the people of the village. They do not notice their health even do not get proper facilities.

Our Story
ASHA NGO
Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Founder & Secretary of the organization, having completed his Master Degree in Human Rights from Indian Institute of Human Rights, New Delhi served many organizations under the development sector and watched the gaps between the Rights holders and Duty bearers. This entire deteriorating phenomenon had induced him to do something for the marginalized section of people who were compelled to live as quasi – citizen. Selection of area in the rural & remote villages was intentionally made, as ‘root cause’ of the issues lies in the rural areas while their ‘manifestation’ is seen in the urban regions. Apart from that, ‘caste or gender – based – discrimination’ was another area to be focused on as the experience reveals that most of the victims belong to lower castes or the minorities and it was thought that those people were greatly needed to be empowered through the social action so that they would be in position to identify the issues and initiate advocacy with the government machinery for addressing the same. The ideas were shared with some social and philanthropic minded persons who assured him of their fullest cooperation as team members. Thus, the unanimous opinion took a legal shape on 17th September, 2007 when it got registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961.
